Martin Moloney is Special Advisor on regulation to the Central Bank of Ireland and is also the Irish alternate member of the Board of Supervisors of the European Securities & Markets Authority (“ESMA”) as well as Chair of ESMA’s very important Investment Management Standing Committee (“IMSC”). Martin gave a very interesting and insightful address (with Q&As) to a well attended meeting of the IFDA membership at the Stephens Green Hibernian Club on 29th May 2018. The topic was ‘The role of ESMA in regulatory policy development in Ireland and across the EU & the influence of ESMA on Asset Management/Fund Services operating and regulated in Ireland’.
